The Story Behind The Expeditions

Seven years ago, my first journeys to Ethiopia and Malaysia opened my eyes to a whole new world. What started as a few trips gradually became something much deeper — a curiosity about people, cultures, landscapes, and the stories that make every place unique. Since then, travel has become a central part of my life, shaping the way I see the world and, in many ways, the way I see myself. In 2020, I decided to take that connection to travel a step further and dedicate myself fully to travel.

Over the years, I’ve come to realize that travel is about much more than moving from one place to another or simply checking destinations off a list. For me, it is a journey of the mind and soul — an opportunity to step outside what is familiar, challenge the way I see things, and connect with experiences that stay with me long after I’ve returned home.

It is in the conversations with local people, the quiet moments in unfamiliar places, the shared meals, the unexpected encounters, and the stories we discover along the way. It is about experiencing different cultures with curiosity and respect, understanding that there is rarely only one way to live, to think, or to see the world.

Every journey has taught me something. Some have taken me far from home, while others have brought me closer to myself. And with every new place, I’ve learned that the most meaningful part of travel is not always where you go, but how deeply you allow yourself to experience it.
